About us

Goin’ Stompin’ is an Easy Intermediate class run by Margaret who is a fully qualified Western Dance instructor with both BWDA & CWDC(UK). As a result you know that you will be taught in a clear and concise manner, with time to learn the dances properly. Country Music is preferred but the occasional popular non-country track sometimes creeps in. Come to us if you want to learn with the emphasis on FUN.

FRECHEVILLE COMMUNITY CENTRE, CHURCHDALE ROAD, SHEFFIELD, S12 4XT

  • Friday evening:7-8pm Beginners (£2),  8-10pm   Improver/Easy Intermediates (£3.50).
  • Wear comfortable clothes (in layers as the temperature can fluctuate), and sensible shoes that support the foot and ankle (i.e. no sandals or high heels).
  • This is a nice friendly little club with a sprung wooden dance floor.  Please be aware that ballroom dancers also use the hall so we suggest you bring a change of shoes in case the floor is slippery.
  • There is usually a bar from 8pm staffed by volunteers so you are normally asked not to bring your own drinks, please - although bottled water is acceptable. Thank you. Tea & coffee is also available.

PLEASE NOTE: We are holding our Easter Party on Good Friday 19 April

from 8pm-10:30pm. Dancers: £3.50 ; Beginners/non-dancers £2.

Bring some food/nibbles for your own table. Bar; Charity Raffle; Quiz.

There will be no beginner session as we have to prepare the room, sorry.
